1. Day: Sat. Budapest - Oradea
Arrival at the Rumanian border by Bors. After we meet our Romanian guide, drive to Oradea. Short city tour in Oradea with visit of the old part of the city and the Moon Church. D/O/B H.Continental 4*

2. Day: Sun. Oradea - Cimpulung Moldovenesc
In the morning we drive in direction north-east. Short stop in Sapinta to visit the "cheerful cemetery". Here we can read on every gravestone a funny poem about the dead person. In the afternoon we visit the wood churches from the Iza valley. These are very similar to the churches from Norway. The wood churches from Ieud, Rozavlea and Bogdan Voda are beeing visited. 3. Day: Mon. monasteries round trip
In the morning drive trough the Obcina mountains and visit of an cattle farm. Afterwards drive to the monastery Moldovita where the nuns explain the symbols of the outer wall paintings. Here we can see scenes from the Bible and from the history of the Rumanian people. In the afternoon the monastery Sucevita is beeing visited. This has been built in the same style like the first one and is also known for its outer wall paintings. Afterwards the "Capella Sixtina" of Romania, the monastery Voronet is beeing visited. Here we can see a beautiful picture of the Final Judgement. In the evening festive dinner with folklore program in the hotel. D/O/B H.Zimbrul 3*

4. Day: tue. Cimpulung Moldovenesc - Predeal
In the morning we drive south. The first stop will be at the monastery Neamt which was built by the monarch Stephan the Great. Afterwards, trough the east Carpathian mountains, trough the Bicaz-gorge and past the Red Lake. In the afternoon short stop in Prejmer to visit the most eastern fortified church of Transylvania. 5. Day: wen. Predeal - Bucharest - Predeal
In the morning we drive south to the capital of Romania. City tour in Bucharest with visit at the Palace of the Parliament (second largest building of the world after the Pentagon), the patriarch's church (residence of the orthodox head of Romania), as well as the village museum. In the evening festive dinner in the R. "Cabana trei brazi". O/B H.Orizont 3*

6. Day: thu. Predeal - Sibiu
In the morning visit at the Bran castle. This is also known as Draculas castle. Afterwards drive to Brasov. In the biggest city of Transylvania we will visit the Black church (the biggest Gothic style build building of Eastern Europe), the old city hall, as well as the orthodox church from the old part of the city. Afterwards drive to Sibiu. City walk in Sibiu with visit at the big and small ring, the Bridge of the Lies, as well as the Bruckenthal museum. In the evening cheerful dinner at the villigers in Sibiel. Here we can also visit the farms of the villigers. O/B H.Continental 3*

7. Day: Fri. round trip at the fortified churches
In the morning drive trough the Tarnava valley. The first stop is in Axente Sever to visit the fortress here. Afterwards trip to Sighisoara. Here we can vist the the clock tower, the birthplace of count Dracula, as well as the Church Hill. In the afternoon the fortified church of Biertan is beeing visited. This is the biggest from Transylvania and was the residence of the Evangelical Bishops till the end of the 19th century. Afterwards short stop in Medias to see the biggest winged altar-piece of Romania at the Margarethian church. In the evening wine tasting and festive dinner in the R. "Sibiul vechi". 8. Day: Sat. Sibiu - Arad
In the morning short stop in Cristian to visit the home museum of the austrian colonists from Tansilvania. Afterwards drive to Alba Iulia. Here we will visit the Roman Catholic church. This is the residence of the Bishops from Transylvania. Here we can also visit the old fortress, which was built by Eugen von Savoyen. In the afternoon visit of the cattle farm entreprise in Vladimirescu. D/O/B H.Parc 3*

9. Day: Sun. Arad - home
In the morning drive to the border at Nadlag. Farewell from the Rumanian guide and drive home.
