6 Day Bus trip

1st Day Tatabanya - Satu Mare
Arrival at the border Bors. Meeting with the romanian guide and drive further through the northwestern part of Romania. D/O/B H. Dacia 3* (architectural monument).

2nd Day Satu Mare - Cimpulung Moldovenesc
In the morning we drive to the west. Short stop at the "cheerful cemetery". After that we drive through the Iza Valley. Here we can see the wooden churches from Ieud, Bogdan Voda and Rozavlea. These are very similar with the norwegian rod churches. In the afternoon we drive over the Prislop Pas into the northern part of the Moldavia, into the Bucovina. D/O/B H. Zimbru 3*

Day 3. Tour of the Monasteries
In the morning we drive to the monastery Moldovita. The nun Tatiana explains here in detail the symbols of the paintings from the exteriour wall. After that we drive to the Monastery of Sucevita. It is worldwide known because of the exteriour wall paintings. After that we will visit the ceramic center of Marginea. In the afternoon we will visit the "Capella Sixtina" of Romania, the monastery Voronet. D/O/B H. Zimbrul 3*

4th Day Cimpulung Moldovenesc - Sibiu
In the morning we drive through the Tihuta Pas to Transylvania. First stop in Bistrita. Here we can see the Protestant church with its flags, which was build in the 14th century. After that we drive over Tirgu Mures to Sighisoara. In the old town of Sighisoara we will visit the clock tower, the house of Dracula, where he was born, and also the mountain church. Short stop in the afternoon at the largest church castle of Romania, that is in Biertan. Here was the residence of the Protestant bishops until the end of the 19th century. After that, in Medias, we will visit the Margareth– Church, with its wing altar. This is the largest of the entire country. In the evening, festive meal with folklore music in the R. Sibiul Vechi". 5th Day Sibiu - Arad
In the morning, city tour of Sibiu. We will visit the large and the little ring, as well as the “Bridge of Lies”. After that we drive towards the vest. We make a short stop in Cilnic to visit the old church castle. Finally, stop in Sebes, where we can see the Protestant Cathedral. In Alba lulia we can see the Catholic Cathedral, the residence of the Bishop of Transylvania. We have now also the occasion to see the fort that was constructed by Eugen of Savoy. After that we drive over Deva into the Mures Valley, to Arad. D/O/B H. Parc 3*

6th Day Arad - Tatabanya
In the morning we drive to the border in Nadlag. We say goodbye to the romanian guide and then we drive towards Hungary. In the afternoon, city tour of Budapest with visit of the Stephan's Cathedral and the Fishermen-Bastion. D/O/B H. Arpad 3*
