1. Day: Munich - Tatabanya

2. Day: Tatabanta - Cluj Napoca
In the morning drive trough the eastern part of Hungary up to the Rumanian border at Bors. Reception of the Rumanian guide and drive past Oradea, trough the west Carpathians, to Cluj, the second largest city of Transylvania. D/O/B H.Victoria 3*

3. Day: Cluj Napoca - Suceava
In the morning city walk in Cluj with visit of the Skt. Michaels curch, as well as of to the statue of Mathias Corvinus, one of the greatest kings of Hungary. Afterwards we drive east Bistrita. Short city walk in Bistrita with visit of the Evangelical church and the guild buildings. In the afternoon drive trough the east Carpathians, past the castle-hotel of Dracula, up to the northern part of Moldavia, in the Bucovina. Short stop in Campulung Moldovenesc to visit the wood museum. D/O/B H.Continental 3*

4. Day: monasteries round trip
In the morning drive to the Voronet monastery which is also known as the " Capella Sixtina " of Romania. Here one can admire a monumental wall painting of the "Last Judgement". Afterwards the monastery Moldovita is beeing visited. This is known all over the world because of its outer wall paintings. Afterwards, over the Obcina mountain, we arrive at the monastery Sucevita. Here we can admire on the outer wall paintings scenes from the Bible, as well as from the history of the Rumanian people. Afterwards we can visit the ceramiccentre from Marginea. 5. Day: Suceava - Iasi
In the mornings drive east to the capital of the old country of Moldavia. City walk in Iasi with visit at the Mitropoliten-church, as well as at the church where the coronation took place. In the evening festive dinner with folklore music in the R. "Bucium". O/B H.Moldova 3*

6. Day: Iasi - Tulcea
In the morning we drive south to Galati. This town is the biggest Rumanian harbour-city on the Danube. From here with the ferry over the Danube, we arrive on the right bank, in the Dobrugea. After approximately an one hour drive we reach Tulcea, the city at the gates of the Danube delta. D/O/B H.Delta 3*

7. Day: Danube delta
Today we go on a ship excursion into the Danube Delta. You will go on the main canal Sulina to the canal of the 36th mile. From here on, further through the old Danube, to the Nebunu Lake, which is a pelican reservat. Warm lunch on board. In the afternoon we go back to Tulcea. D/O/B H. Delta 3*

8. Day: Tulcea - Bucharest
In the morning drive west twards the capital of Romania. City tour in Bucharest with visit at the palace of the parliament (second largest building in the world after the pentagon), the patriarch's church (residence of the orthodox head leader of Romania). In the afternoon visit at the village museum. Festive dinner with folklore in R. "Pescarus". O/B H.Elizeu 3*

9. Day: Bucharest - Sibiu (Hermannstadt)
In the morning drive north, twards the mountains. The first stop will be at the Peles castle (the summer residence of the Rumanian royal family of Hohenzollern). Then visit at the monastery of Sinaia (16th century). This was built by monks from the Sinai-peninsula. The monastery has given later also the name of the current city. Then visit at the Bran castle. This is also known as Draculas castle. At noon visit in Brasov. City walk with visit of the Black church (the biggest Gothic style build building of Eastern Europe), the old city hall, as well as the orthodox church from the old part of the city. In the afternoon drive east twards Sibiu. In the evening dinner with wine tasting and folkore music in R. " Sibiul vechi ". O/B H.Continental 3*

10. Day: Saxon church castles
In the morning drive north twards the Saxon fortified chrches of the Tarnava-valley. The first stop will be in Axente Severto see the fortified church from the 14th century. Afterwards short stop in Medias in order to visit the Margareth church with the biggest wing altar of Romania. At noon we arrive in Sighisoara, an outspoken attractive medieval city. This city gives an entirely special disposition with its pastel colours of the old town buildings. We will visit the famous Clock Tower, the house where Count Dracula was born and the medieval Mountain Church.After that, we will drive to Biertan, where we can admire the largest church castle of Transylvania - residence of the Protestant Bishops until the 19th century. Back in Hermannstadt we will start the city tour in the old part of the town. We visit the big and small ring, the lieers bridge, the Evangelical church (the current residence of the Evangelical Bishops). In the evening visit of the glass icon museum from Sibiel. Afterwards very cosily at the farmers home for supper. O/B H.Continental 3*

11. Day: Sibiu - Turnu Severin
In the morning drive trough the Olt-valley, twards Walachia. Short stop at the monastery Cozia (14th century), one of the oldest orthodox monasteries of Romania. Then the monasteries Horezu and Tismana from the northern part of the Walachia are beeing visited. In the afternoon drive twards the Danube to Turnu Severin. D/O/B H.Continental 3*

12. Day: Turnu Severin - Arad
In the morning visit at the museum of the Iron Gates from Turnu Severin. Here we can see the ruins of the first bridge over the Danube which was built by the Romans. Afterwards, along the Danube twards Orsova, one can see how the Danube made its way trough the Carpathians. Short stop in Herculane at the the Roman Baths, as well as a visit at the museum of Sissi. In the afternoon city walk in Timisoara where the revolution has begun in December, 1989. Here we can see the place of the opera, as well as we can visit the Mitropolitan - church. Afterwards drive to Arad. D/O/B H.Parc 3*

13. Day: Arad - Tatabanya
In the morning drive to the Rumanian border at Nadlag, farewell of the Rumanian guide and drive to Tatabanya. D/O/B H.Arpad 3*
