1. Day: Germany - Tatabanya; D/O/B H.Arpad 3*
2. Day: Tatabanya - Arad
Arrival on the border in Nadlag. Reception by the Rumanian guide and drive twards Arad. City tour in Arad with visit of the old part of the city and the Roman Catholic church. D/O/B H.Parc 3*
3. Day: Arad - Predeal
In the morning, after the breakfast we drive past Deva, along the Mures river. Deva is known in Romania because of its castle, as well as because of the dakian and Roman ruins from the surroundings. Drive twards Sibiu. Here we visit the liers bridge, the Bruckenthal-museum, as well as big and the small ring. Afterwards drive further south-east to Brasov, the biggest city of Transylvania. In the old part of the city we visit the Black church with its expensive praying carpets collection, the city hall place and the Schei-quarter. Afterwards drive to Predeal. D/O/B H.Orizont 3*
4. Day: Predeal - Bucharest - Predeal
After breakfast drive twards Bucharest, the capital of Romania. In the morning we will visit the Peles castle, the former summer residence of the royal family. In the area there is a beautiful monastery which was built by monks from the Sinai-peninsula and which later gave the city its name. After a 2 hours drive we reach Bucharest in order to visit the patriarch's church, the village museum and the palace of the parliament (second largest building in the world after the pentagon). Late in the afternoon drive back to Predeal. In the evening festive dinner in the R. " Cabana trei brazi ". O/B H.Orizont 3*
5. Day: Predeal - Sighisoara
In the morning drive northwards to the Bran castle, which is known as Draculas castle. Afterwrds drive to the fortresses of Harman and Prejmer, not far from Brasov, built in the 13-th century in order to protect the population of the Tartars invasions. Then drive to Sighisoara which is known because of its oldest part of the city. Here we will visit the famous Clock Tower, the house where Count Dracula was born and the medieval Mountain Church. 6. Day: Sighisoara - Campulung Moldovenesc
In the morning drive twards Tg. Mures. We’ll make a city tour and we'ill see the Culture Palace and the Orthodox Cathedral. Then we drive past Reghin to Bistrita. Here we visit the Evangelical church which was built by the Saxons in the 14th century. We drive further trough the East Carpathian mountains past the hotel Dracula, in the Bucovina, to Cimpulung Moldovenesc. D/O/B H.Zimbru 3*
7. Day: monasteries round trip
The current day is dedicated to the world-famous Moldavian monasteries. In the morning we drive to the monastery Moldovita where the mother Tatijana explains the symbols of the outer wall paintings of this monastery. Afterwards, over the Obcina-mountain, we arrive at the monastery Sucevita. The outer wall paintings from here are known all over the world. After that, short stop in the ceramics-centre from Marginea. In the afternoon we will visit the " Capella Sixtina " of Romania, the monastery Voronet. D/O/B H.Zimbru 3*
8. Day: Cimpulung Moldovenesc - Satu Mare
In the morning drive over the Prislop pass in the Maramures area. Here we can see the beautiful carved wood gates from the different villages, as well as the wood churches from Bogdan Voda, Ieud and Rozavlea. In the afternoon we visit the "Cheerful Cemetery" from Sapanta. D/O/B H.Dacia 3* (architectural monument).
9. Day: Satu Mare - Tatabanya
In the morning drive to the border at Petea, farewell of the Rumanian guide and drive twards Tatabanya. D/O/B H.Arpad 3*
10. Day: Tatabanya - home
