Services:

Day 1. Frankfurt-Sibiu
Arrival on the airport in Sibiu. Here we’ll meet the Romanian guide and we’ll drive towards the hotel for the check in. In the evening we’ll tour Sibiu by foot, which was the European Cultural Capital City in 2007. Afterwards we will enjoy a delicious dinner with wine tasting at the restaurant “Butoiul de Aur” ; O/B H Continental 3*

Day 2. Sibiu-Sighisoara
In the morning we’ll continue our by foot tour of Sibiu, while we’re visit the Small and the Large Square, the Bridge of Lies and the evangelich Church of the old city center. Afterwards we’ll drive to Medias and we’ll visit the evangelic church called the Margaret Church. Our next stop will be at the largest fortified church in Transylvania, Biertan. This was the seat of evangelic bishops of Transylvania, until the end of the 19th century. Afterwards we’ll drive to Sighisoara. Festive dinner at the restaurant Dracula in the fortress of Sighisoara. D/B H Korona 4*

Day 3. Sighisoara-Bistrita
After breakfast we’ll begin our city tour with the visit of the Clock Tower, Dracula’s birth place and the Church on the Hill. The tour continues across the city of Targu Mures. Here we’ll make a short stop at the orthodox cathedral (one of the largest in Romania), at the City Hall and the Culture Palace. Drive through Reghin and Bistrita. D/O/B G Corana de aAur 3*

Day 4. Bistrita-Gura Humorului
In the mornings we’ll visit the small town of Bistrita by foot, where we’ll see the evangelic Chruch. Afterwards we’ll cross the Eastern Carpathian Mountains though the Tihuta Pass to reach the northen part of Moldavia- the Bukovina region. On our way to Bukovina we’ll also make a stop at the Dracula Hotel. D/O/B H Best Western 4*

Day 5. Tour of the Monasteries.
This day is dedicated to the numerous monasteries of Moldavia. Moldovita, built in 1532 and surrounded by a massive defense wall. Very impressive is the “Tree Esua’s”, an outside wall painting. Sucevita is the last convent in the line of Moldavian religious edifices, whose exterior is entirely covered by frescoes. The Voronet Monastery is a small monastery, but with a great architectural value. Its church, whose paintings are famous through its characteristical “Voronet – Blue”, has a special glamour, being the masterpiece of the Moldavian architecture. D/O/B

Day 6. Gura Humorului-Brasov
Crossing the Bicaz Gorge after a short stop at the Red Lake we’ll have returned to Transylvania. Here we’ll visit the Bran castle known also as the Dracula Castle. In the evening festive dinner at the Restaurant “Sura Dacilor” in Poiana Brasov. O/B H Capitol 3*

Day 7. Brasov-Bukarest
Today we’ll discover one of the most beautiful towns in Romania, Brasov. During our by foot tour we’ll visit the Black Church , the City Hall Square and the orthodox church of the former city center. Afterwards we’ll drive towards Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. The city tour starts with the visit of the patriarchal church and ends at the Revolution Square. During our tour in Bucharest we can also see the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon, the Palace of The Parliament. In the evening festive dinner with folklore show at the Pescarus Restaurant. O/B H Central 3*

Day 8. Bukarest-Frankfurt
In the morning we’ll visit an open air museum, the Village Museum. Drive to the airport, farewell from the local guide and flight back home.
