1. Day Do: home - Constanta - Tulcea
Arrival at the airport in Constanta with the charter flight. Meeting with the Rumanian guide and drive to Tulcea. D/O/B H.Delta 3*
2. Day Fr: Danube delta
Day trip into the Danube Delta. Trip by ship on the main canal Sulina until the canall of the Mile 36 and from here through the old Danube to the Fortune lake and then to Nebunu Lake. Lunch on board. In the afternoon back to Tulcea. D/O/B H.Delta 3*
3. Day Sa: Tulcea - Gura Humorului
In the morning drive in direction west trough the Dobrudscha. Then with the ferry over the Danube by Galati. In the afternoon visit the monastery Agapia or Varatec. These have more than 1000 nuns and are some of the biggest in Europe. Afterwards drive to Gura Humorului. D/O/B H.Best Western 4*
4. Day So: Gura Humorului - Bistrita
In the morning drive to the monastery Voronet which is known as a "Capella sixtina" of Romania. Here we can see a beautiful representation of the "After Judgement". Afterwards drive to the monastery Sucevita. Here we can see on the outer wall paintings scenes from the Bible, as well as from the history of the Rumanian people. Over the Obcina-mountain, we drive to the monastery Moldovita, world famous for its outer wall paintings. Here the symbols of the orthodox religion are presented by the nuns. Afterwards drive trough the Tihuta-pass to Transylvania. We make a short stop at the castle hotel of Dracula to get to know the count better. D/O/B H.Coroana de Aur 3*
5. Day Mo: Bistrita - Sibiu
In the morning drive to Sighisoara. City walk in Sighisoara with visit at the clock tower, the birthplace of the count Dracula, as well as at the mountain church. Afterwards drive to Biertan, to visit the biggest Transylvanian-Saxon fortified church. Here was untill the end of the 19th century the residence of the Evangelical bishops from Transylvania. Afterwards drive to Medias to visit the Margarethian church. In the afternoon city walk in Sibiu with visit of the small and big ring, the Bridge of Lies, as well as of the Evangelical cathedral. In the evening festive dinner at the villigers in Sibiel. O/B H.Continental 3*
6. Day Di: Sibiu - Predeal
In the morning drive to Brasov and city walk with visit at the Black church (the biggest Gothic style built building of Eastern Europe), to the old city hall, as well as the orthodox church from the old part of the city. In the afternoon visit at the Bran castle. This is also known as Draculas castle. Afterwards drive to Predeal. D/O/B H.Orizont 3*
7. Day Mi: Predeal - Bucharest
In the morning drive to Sinaia where we visit Peles castle, the summer residence of the royal family of the Hohenzollern. Near the castle is also the monastery Sinaia which was established by monks coming from the Sinai-peninsula. From Sinaia we drive in direction south to Bucharest, where we visit the village museum, the patriarch's church and the Palace of the Parliament (which is the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon). In the evening festive dinner in the R. "Pescarus". O/B H.Best Central 3*
8. Day Do: Bucharest - Constanta - home
In the morning we drive to the Black Sea. City tour in Constanta with visit at the archeological museum, the Roman Mosaik and the Turkish mosque from the old part of the city. After the visit of the mosque we visit the orthodox church Peter and Paulus. This was built by the king Karl I according to the same plans like the one in Sinaia. In the afternoon drive to the airport and farewell of the Rumanian guide.
