Day 1. Frankfurt – Bucharest
Arrival at the airport Bucharest – Otopeni, meeting with the Romanian guide and transfer to the hotel. Typical Romanian dinner at R. “Burebista”. O/B H. Caro 3*

Day 2. Bucharest - Sibiu
In the morning drive towards Transylvania. On the way visit of the monastery Cozia, the oldest monasterial complex of this trip. In the early afternoon arrival in Sibiu. Walk through the old city centre with visit of the large and the small ring, the Liar’s Bridge, the Bruckenthal Museum and the evangelic cathedral. In the evening drive to Sibiel. Day 3. Sibiu – Alba Iulia – Cluj
After breakfast drive over Sebes to Alba Iulia. Sightseeing tour of the historical centre with visit of the catholic cathedral and of the old fortress, built by Eugen of Savoya. Afterwards drive further to Cluj. D/O/B H. Continental 3*

Day 4. Cluj Napoca – Baia Mare
In the morning walk through the centre of Cluj with visit of the St. Michael’s Church, the monument and the birth place of Matthias Corvinus (one of the most popular Hungarian kings), the orthodox cathedral and the theatre. Afterwards drive to Baia Mare. D/O/B H. Carpati 3*

Day 5. Baia Mare
For today a tour of the beautiful region of Maramures is planned. The first stop is at the Jolly Cemetery of Sapanta. Here one can see a funny poem about the deceased on each grave stone. Afterwards drive over Sighetul Marmatiei to the well known wooden churches from the Iza Valley, which are very similar to the Norwegian churches. One will visit the wooden churches of Bogdan Voda and Rozavlea. In the afternoon drive back over Baia Sprie to Baia Mare. On the way visit of the wooden church of Surdesti, the highest one in Maramures. D/O/B H. Carpati 3*

Day 6. Baia Mare – Bistrita
After breakfast walk in the centre of Baia Mare. Afterwards drive over Nasaud to Bistrita. Sightseeing tour in Bistrita with visit of the evangelic church. D/O/B H. Coroana de Aur 3*
Day 7. Bistrita – Sighisoara
In the morning drive over Reghin to Targu Mures. Short stop at the Culture Palace and then drive to Sighisoara. City walk in Sighisoara with visit of the Clock Tower, the birth house of Dracula and the Church on the Hill. D/O/B H. Casa Wagner 3*

Day 8. Sighisoara – Brasov
Drive to Biertan, the largest fortified church of the German Saxons. Visit of the church, which was until the middle of the 19th century seat of the evangelic bishops in Transylvania. Afterwards visit of the Margarethan Church in Medias. Drive over Agnita, Fagaras to Brasov. Festive dinner with folklore music at the Rest. “Sura Dacilor”. O/B H. Capitol 3*

Day 9. Brasov – Bucharest – Frankfurt
Departure towards Bucharest. In the afternoon transfer to the airport, farewell from the Romanian guide and flight home.
