Day 1. Munchen-Bucharest- Pitesti; Hotel Muntenia 3*
Arrival in Bucharest and meeting with the guide. Drive through Bucharest towards Pitesti

Day 2. Pitesti-Transfagarasan-Sambata de Jos; H Diana 3*
Ride on one of the most spectacular roads in the Carpathian Mountains, through the Balea Pass. After a short break we go by bicycle along the sinuous roads 1500m down the road into Transylvania. Afterwards we drive to Sambata de Jos.

Day 3. Sambata de Jos-Sibiu-Marpold; Pension Marpold 3*
In the morning we make a city tour in the city which in 2007 was the European Cultural Capital City. Here we visit the Small and the Large Square, the Liars Bridge and one of the most beautiful churches of Transylvania, the Evangelic Church. Afterwards we can enjoy some free time by walking through the old city center. In the afternoon we ride the bicycle until we reach Marpold.

Day 4. Marpold-Biertan; Pension Dornröschen
Our target today is to see the largest fortified church of Transylvania, Biertan, which was until the 19th century the head quarter of the evangelic bishops from Transylvania. We will also spend the night in the former fortification Biertan.

Day 5. Biertan-Medias-Bazna; Pension Bazna 3*
We drive today towards Medias, where we visit the Margareth Church and where we can see the largest Wingsaltar in Romania. Afterwarsd we drive to Bazna, which is nowadays one of the most important spas of the Transylvania.

Day 6. Bazna-Boian-Cetatea Alba-Tarnaveni-Bazna; Pension Bazna 3*
Today we go by bicycle through Boian, Cetatea de Alba( famous for the champagne production), Tarnaveni. We will make stops in each Transylvanian small town to visit their Saxon fortified churches.

Day 7. Bazna-Copsa Mica-Tapu-Sura Mica; Pension Ana3*
We drive to Copsa Mica and from here, on our bikes we ride through the small villages of Tapu and Sura Mica. Today we visit again some other interesting fortified Saxon churches.

Day 8. Sura Mica-Sibiu- Munchen
We drive to Sibiu where we say good bye to our Romanian guide and we fly back home.
