6 Day agricultural journey

Day 1. home – Bucharest – Brasov
Arrival at the Bucharest – Otopeni, meeting with the Romanian guide and drive further to Brasov. D/O/B Hotel Capitol

Day 2. Brasov – Bistrita
In the morning we'll visit the Lipizzan-stud in Sambata. Afterwards trip through Transylvania to Bistrita. On the way, short stop in one of the former saxon villages and visit of a German church. D/O/B Hotel Coroana de aur

Day 3. Bistrita – Suceava
In the morning travel through the Tihuta – Pass into the Bucovina. The first stop is at the Moldovita Monastery, that is world known for the paintwork on its outside walls. Afterwards we'll visit the Sucevita Monastery. The ceramic centre from Marginea is also nearby. In the afternoon we could visit the stud farm from Radauti. There are two breeds, the Anglo-Arabian (Gidran), as well as Shagya-Arabian horses. Buy requested, visit at the breeding station in Brodina, which also belongs to the same stud. D/O/B Hotel Suceava

Day 4. Suceava – Mangalia
This day is dedicated to the trip through Moldavia and Dobrogea. In the first hours of the afternoon we will reach Galati, from there we will take the ferry across the Danube on Dobrogean shore. D/O/B in Hotel Doina Venus.

Day 5. Mangalia
In the morning we will visit the stud farm from Mangalia. Here we can see purebred Arabian, as well as Shagya-Arabian horses. There is also time for a sunbath or even a bath in the Black Sea. In the evening we will have a folclore evening in the restaurant „ Nunta Zamfirei “. O/B Hotel Doina Venus

Day 6. Mangalia – Bucharest – home
In the morning we'll travel east through the Romanian Plain to the stud farm in Jegalia, where the Romanian Sport horses are bred. Afterwards, in Bucharest, a city tour, including visits to the Patriarchal Church, the Palace of the Parliament (the second largest building in the world, after the Pentagon), as well as the Village Museum.
