Day 1. home – Bucharest – Predeal
Arrival in the afternoon at Bucharest-Otopeni airport, meeting with the Romanian guide and drive to the north, in the Carpathians. O/B hotel Orizont 3*

Day 2. Predeal – Iasi
In the morning drive to the eastern part of Transylvania, through the Szekler county. Then near the Red Lake and through the Bicaz gorge to Moldavia. In the afternoon arrival in Iasi, the old capital of this province. Dinner and wine tasting in “Bolta Rece” restaurant with Romanian cuisine. O/B hotel Moldova 3*

Day 3. Iasi
In the morning we'll visit the historical part of the town, the Culture Palace, the Metropolitan Church and the “Trei Ierarhi” Church. In the afternoon we'll visit the Bucium cellars, which have a yearly production of 40.000 hl. We can taste here Aligote, white grapes, royal grapes, black grapes, Muscatel. In the evening, cheerfull dinner in “3 Sarmale” restaurant from Iasi. O/B hotel Moldova 3*

Day 4. Iasi – Campulung Moldovenesc
In the morning we'll make a short stop at Cotnari, the most north point of wine regions in Romania area. On an area of 1200 ha there are produced over 50.000 hl of different wine sorts. A wine tasting completes the whole picture. In the afternoon short stop at the Voronet monastery, also known as the “Sixtine Chappell” of Romania because of its outside wall paintings. Day 5. Campulung Moldovenesc – Sibiu
In the morning we'll drive through the Eastern Carpathians back to Transylvania. After a stop in Bistrita in order to see the saxon church, we'll drive on through Tg Mures, to Sighisoara. We'll visit here the clock tower, the birth house of Dracula and the church from the hill. Afterwards short stop in Biertan in order to see the biggest transylvanian church castle of the Saxons. This one is in the middle of the wine area of the river Large Tarnava. By request we can also visit the wine cellars from Biertan. D/O/B hotel Continental 3*

Day 6. Sibiu – Blaj – Sibiu
We drive in the morning back to the Tarnava valley to see the research station for wines in Blaj.15.000 wine hl are produced every year on an area of 900 ha. Royal grapes, muscatel, white grapes are the most appreciated wines from Transylvania. A wine tasting here is welcome. In the afternoon we drive back to Sibiu. In the evening a cheerful dinner with wine tasting in „Butoiul de Aur“ restaurant. O/B Continental hotel 3*

Day 7. Sibiu – Sinaia
In the morning we'll make a short city tour in Sibiu. We'll visit the great and the little ring of the old town, the Bridge of Lies and the evangelic curch. Then drive to Brasov to see the Black Church, the biggest gothic sacral building from Eastern Europe. In the end visit of the old city hall and of the orthodox church from the old town. Day 8. Sinaia – Valea Calugareasca
We'll drive to the research station Valea Calugareasca, to become acquainted to the Romanian red wines. The wines Merlot, Babeasca, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir are well known here and abroad. We could also visit the research station from Pietroasele and also taste there the wines. Although the 2 cellars are near, the wines are very different. It is worth to be visitied in order to feel the challenge.
9th Day Sinaia – Bucharest – home
In the morning drive to the capital, city tour with visiting at the Patriarchal Church, the Palace of Parliament, the second biggest building after the Pentagon and of the Village Museum. Afterwards drive to the airport. Farewell from the guide and home flight.
